Perhaps this isn’t meant for ALL women of color to identify with, but a few. This space isn’t supposed to serve as a blanketing explanation for the way all women of color feel. It’s individual in its entries and communal in the common themes.
Another good one. I’ve never heard of Amy Hagemeier but I like it. I like the mariposa elements and not-barbie hips.
It’s also a reminder that we are all a collection of identities and characteristics and to deny any one of those elements is to deny who we are.
Is cool but a lot of people are brown. Maybe some specificity would help to clarify.
